You want a well-trained dog, but sending them away just doesn’t feel right.

That’s why I created the Home School Program.

  • I train your dog for you—right at home. You don’t need to send them away. I handle the heavy lifting so you get results without all the work.

  • Your dog learns where the issues actually happen. Instead of being trained in a facility, your dog will be trained in real-life situations: at home, in your neighborhood, and in public spaces where obedience matters most.

  • You get hands-on coaching at the end, and I’ll teach you exactly what to do so your dog listens to YOU.

This is a structured, hands-on program that gives you all the benefits of a board & train without separating you from your dog.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • Monday – Friday: I train your dog while you’re at work. You don’t need to do anything!

  • Handover Sessions: Once your dog has reached their goal, you’ll join in on a session to learn what your dog has been working on and how to apply it in daily life. You get plenty of followup help so you feel confident taking over.

  • Video Updates: I’ll send you videos from each training session so you can see your dog making progress.

  • Real Progress Without Overwhelm: Your dog learns consistently throughout the week, while you stay involved and confident in maintaining their training.

  • Pulling On Leash - You’re tired of getting yanked around, and you just want easy walks with your dog.

  • Ignoring You - You know they understand what you just told them to do, but they act like they don’t hear you, especially if you don’t have treats.

  • Not Coming When Called - Off-leash time turns into panicked chaos because your dog pretends to be deaf when the leash is off.

  • Hyperactive - Zoomies, barking, jumping… your dog is constantly in motion and nothing seems to slow them down.

3-WEEK PROGRAM

Minimum of 3 weeks (with the option to add on additional weeks or private sessions at the end of the program).

In total, your dog will receive 15 private sessions with me, and you will receive 2 private sessions with me and your dog.

All training equipment is included in the cost of the program.

FAQs

  • Yes! I stand by my training, and if I don’t reach our training goal in the time we agreed on, I’ll continue working with your dog at no additional charge.

  • It depends on your goal. I may work with your dog in your house or yard or I may take them to a park or somewhere to train.

  • I will work with your dog for 1-2 hours, depending on my schedule and your dog’s willingness to keep training.

    Our 1-1 sessions will be an hour.

  • I take a balanced approach to dog training, which includes: reinforcement, consequences, emotions, and environment.

    Simply put, we'll reinforce behaviors you want to see more of and have a penalty for behaviors you want to see less of. This system of training has proven to be the most effective way for any dog to learn.

    When it comes to dog training, one size does not fit all. I use a variety of tools to assist with training and motivating dogs: toys, play, food, pets, praise, flat collars, remote training collars, and pinch collars. The tools used will depend on what each dog responds best to as well as the goals you wish to accomplish and what you feel comfortable with.

    Please know that YOU get the final say, and I will not put a tool on your dog without your consent.

    My goal is for a happy, confident dog, not a shutdown and stressed dog and not a dog who only listens when you have food.

  • That depends on your dog and your goals.

    I’ll know after I’ve done an initial meet and greet with you and your dog.

  • Totally fine. Most owners provide a key or door code that I will use for the duration of your program. You can also put your dog in your fenced yard and I can get them that way.

    We’ll discuss all these details ahead of time.
